They aren't as fast as the longer dive fins, but it gives just enough propulsion to keep my legs up. Comfortable enough for me to wear during my whole workout. A well-rounded product.

Unlike any fin I've tried before. Great design. Sturdy and FAST. Try them!

I purchased these fins in March 2010! I lov them! I wanted to tighten up my upper legs and they have done that! I recommend these to all the swimmers when I am passing them because my Z2 zommers are so fast! My only problem is I recently lost them! I left them in the locker room and I guess someone else loves them also, because they were taken and not returned! So I will buy another pair!

For open water swimming the legs are more for balance than providing significant movement forward. When you swim a set with Z2 fins the legs are more involved with the kick than usual which takes more oxygen and provides the feeling that you are swimming at a higher altitude. Other fins don’t seem to provide this affect.
The Z2 fins fit like a very comfortable shoe. The slight increase in moving forward with the Z2's also makes for a faster breath when turning to breathe which is exactly the feeling of swimming at high altitudes.
Even with the short time I have been using them I know the Z2 has been very helpful to mimic what I go through when swimming Tahoe.
Thanks for all the strong support!
